- Multiple solder profiles.
- Tight temperature control.
- All-in-one unit.
Electronic components keep getting smaller and smaller. This is making them more difficult to place and solder. I have read via the Internet about some people who have successfully re-flowed solder using a hot plate. I am impressed that it can be done that way, but I was more intrigued by the ones using toaster ovens to accomplish the soldering task.
Instead of just taking a run-of-the-mill toaster oven and sitting there with a stopwatch and flashlight to do the re-flow process, I decided to try and modify a toaster oven to create a slightly more proper system.
